Imagine just for a moment that you decided that you wanted to become a successful professional golfer, but you knew your game wasn’t nearly good enough to meet the standard required. Fortunately however, you have the financial resources to hire the best instructor money can buy to help you improve your game. You can travel anywhere in the world, and you can stay for as long as needed, to learn from this golf instructor. Who would you take lessons from, and what would you take your lessons on? Now I don’t know you, but I can almost guarantee 100% that you would... seek out the best golf swing instructor available, to improve your golf swing functionality. In my experience, it is far less likely that you would consider a Golf Performance Coach to accurately assess your whole game and identify the underlying constraints that are holding you back from becoming the player you wish to become. But let me tell you, there’s a world of difference when it comes to how the best golfers handle themselves emotionally—especially in times of struggle. With that said, here’s my list detailing 5 signs you’re an emotionally intelligent competitive golfer. Let’s hope you can say without reservation that you are competent in all 5 of these statements. Remember, you don’t have to have a high IQ to play golf successfully on tour, but you better believe that you need a high EQ. Lawrie Montague THE PRACTICE SYSTEM EVERY |
